Florentine crepe - spinach, cheddar, feta, onion - good! Excellent. Perfect combo of melty ingredients. Even hubbie was pleasantly surprised... Isn't usually overly impressed with this place (lower expectations) but we were happy campers this time!

Went to get in a crepe, and all I got it atittude from the emoloyees and manager.. I guess that's what happens when u operate a location with no expectations for a returning customers.. too bad I'm local, not gonna see me there again

Went to this place at Universal for a quick dessert. Crepe I ordered was chocolate strawberry. Paid about 9 dollars for it. Crepe was ok but costumer service was horrible. Woman at the register was holding a conversation about tip jars and arguing with younger man about how she wanted to be left 5 dollars but was only left her three. Very crabby lady never even paid attention to me when ordering I just ordered she charged me and continued in her bad mood and attitude emptying tip jars as I stood there . Didn't want to leave a tip after all that. Crepe was decent but service could have been better. This was on 3-30-15. I would not go back to this place again.

Not a bad place to get breakfast (or a snack) on-the-go if you're heading towards Universal Studios, as it is located in Universal City. We didn't have time to eat breakfast at the house before going to Universal Studios, so we were determined to find something in Universal City instead of paying for overpriced food inside the park. I ducked into this place to see if any breakfast crepes were available since their crepe menu looked very massive. I was happy to see that they served breakfast crepes! I opted for an egg, sausage, ham, and cheese crepe ($7.50). The portion was big enough for me n my boyfriend to share, and the flavor of the crepe really went well with the eggs. Not very many breakfast choices in Universal City, so I would consider coming back if going to Universal Studios.

Great Crepe spot inside City Walk. Various types of sweet and savory crepes to choose from. My recommendations are the Strawberry Nuttella and Turkey Pesto with a side of delicious crispy fries! Crepes here are definitely worth a try!

The Crepe Cafe has 25 different kinds of crepes ... from sweet to savory and from Grand Marnier to Pizza. If you're like me then you're at Universal Citywalk and can't decide what you want, but do know you want "something different." Well, there's a crepe place. How crepe-y could it be? The creperie has a huge front window for passers-by to ogle thin crepes on their way to and fro. It looks tempting. It smells tempting. It sounds tempting ... with Nutella, Dulce de Leche, or Hawaiian. Those flavors may be heavenly, but don't commit the same sin Olivia Z. and me did by getting the Turkey Pesto Crepe ($7.95) with Jack Cheese, Turkey, Avocado, and Pesto. I thought pesto was supposed to have a flavor? How can this crepe be completely flavorless? What sorcery is this? The Crepe Cafe is 3-stars because it is completely sterile and unremarkable which is exactly what you expect at this tourist hub. It would be rated much lower if it was in West Hollywood, Newport Beach, or your hometown, but it's not. It's here. You're here. You want something different and, oh, look ... there's a crepe place called the Crepe Cafe. Let's try that. How crepe-y could it be?

If you want to buy a $12 Chicken Basket at Universal Studios be my guest! But this place has the best savory crepes, try the Chicken Pesto Crepe, Pizza Crepe...they are the best! Can't leave without the Funnel Cake Fries!

This dinning place is located inside city walk next to Universal Studios! They have many type of crepes like banana with Nutella crepes, strawberry and chocolate crepes, and chicken crepes! I didn't even know that chicken crepes existed. I tried the strawberry and banana crepe with ice cream on the side and it was so delicious! The food quality is good, the crepes were cooked well, they were golden brown. The strawberries were sweet and the crepe was warm. I bough a crepe for my brother because it was his birthday and one for my sister and myself to share. With those 2 crepes it came out to almost twenty five dollars. This was my first time trying/ buying crepes and I'm pretty sure that is pricy for two plates! This is a place were you can go dressed casually. The food was good but the customer service wasn't as well. The cashier who took my order was being a little rude. He was not polite at all. When he took my order he answered coldly and he did not even look at me. He did not make me feel welcome. There was only one employe that i noticed was being polite and energetic. The place is little so there are only a few tables ( and the tables fit approximately 4 people) and a lot of customers. If you want to eat inside my recommendation is to have your company find a table and sit while you order to guarantee yourself a seat. If this is your first time going to Universal City they have parking but its expensive so you can always find parking outside and take the bus to Universal City. Overall the food was good and the customer service was not. It is a clean place where you can eat. It can get a little pack because Universal Studios is right next to it. Im sure it you will enjoy the crepes if you eat them outside because city walk is a beautiful place specially at night because there is a lot of lights. The Crepe Cafe is a place you want to check out if you want a snack.

I ordered a grilled chicken crepe today, and it was amazing. The crepe was cooked just right. It wasn't overcooked and crispy hard at other places. They used really good cheese and fresh ingredients. The crepe held its shape when I ate it with a fork and knife. I would love to come back here again for a desert crepe which would be the main reason why I order crepes. But I was hungry, and the chicken crepe and crispy fries filled me up.

Had the strawberry crepe!! Which was really good!! They need to have a crepe with some cream cheese in it or something.. but they have a lot of different variety of items!! Great place for a light dessert!!

This is a great place to get crepes whenever you're in city walk. Food is good. Great customer service. TJ & MJ are the best. I definitely recommend this place. I always get the turkey pesto! My favorite! If I want dessert, then I get the strawberry nutella! So good! Definitely a must try! I will be back! :)

Lacked flavor. I got the fruit crepe . It was not even close to the pictures and the flavor was lacking in everything except the whip cream. Not coming here again

Delicious banana nutella crepe with strawberries on top! I always wanted to try it so yesterday before entering hhn I did and ohhemmgee! I must say I fell in love with it. There was a party in my mouth of all the yummy mixed of sweet warm flavors in this crepe. You have to try it. I'll sure try some of the savory ones next time I am around here for sure.

I WOULD NOT GET A CREPE HERE AT ALL. I just left the store and got a refund. Do to the fact a gentleman named Mark was combing his HAIR while been right next to the crepe while cooking. How disgusting. Not only that but he turns to his coworker and said. " but I washed my hands " which he though that would make it better. I canceled my order and got a refund but Mark. Starts starring at me and laughs about it. Thought it was funny and I asked him if he bought is funny, while chuckling he said No. The coworker also stared laughing and I told him it's a health hazard. Very unsanitary and said he washed his hands. The assistant manager did not tell him nothing and was very HESITANT about giving me the Managers contact information. I will contact the manager and if I have to contact the owner I will. This is very very unsanitary. Even the lady behind me told them it's not sanitary and she wouldn't even brush her hair in her own kitchen! I dont even wanna give this place a rating. But I have too so my 1 star is really a no star Be aware on what they do while they prepare your crepes! I really really wanted a Nutella crepe :(

Went to Universal City Walk to walk around and then decided we wanted dessert. This is seriously the fast food version for crepe. I kid you not-super busy. I would avoid anything warm beverage. I tried their chai latte and was it was done so poorly. I'm sure it had something to do with the fact that it was done in 5 seconds. I never bug people too remake drinks for me but seriously, I had to on this one. And this was a chai latte (relatively easy), so I can't imagine how the other warm drinks taste. They have an outside patio and I love to people watch.....because I'm a creep I suppose as Thom Yorke would say. (get it? crepe ...creep...hahaha I kid, I kid). Okay so on to the crepe itself...it was good but hard to cut with a plastic knife but as we ate along, it became more and more soggy within just a couple minutes. Plus, it didn't really keep it's shape (like it wasn't held tight). I've had better but I guess it did the trick for the time being.

ONLY FOR FUNNEL FRIES. We saw them making crepes from the window and immediately knew not to order crepes here. What caught our eye was the large sign outside for FUNNEL FRIES. Oddly enough, after you walk in to order, funnel fries are nowhere to be found on the menu. Nowhere. The menu is full of different crepe combinations and french fries with a variety of sauces (they have carne asada fries, too). So weird, because the bright sign outside advertising funnel fries is what actually caught our attention. We had to ask about the topping options (strawberry, nutella or plain with whipped cream). We got strawberry with whipped cream for around $5. Again, you won't find funnel fries listed anywhere on the menus, so the prices aren't either. The strawberry topping is kind of like a jam sauce with strawberry chunks in it. The funnel fries were good! They were light, hot and crispy. So yummy. They are thin like regular french fries, and they soaked up some of the strawberry jam with the whipped cream topping - it was perfect. Unfortunately, I can totally see myself craving these again. Our order took quite a while to come out. Crepes came out very quickly, but I think we waited over 15 minutes for our simple order. Felt like forever.

I got the ham & cheese crepe. It's good for theme park food. The crepe was thin and light. As for the fries, don't let the fancy French name fool you - the "pommes-frites" are nothing special. The interesting dipping sauces are nice, though.

This place is benefiting from it's location on Universals City Walk, it looks cool and the photos on the Menus and in the store look great but when I ordered a Turkey, avocado and cheese Crepe it was almost devoid of filling and looked nothing like the great photo above the counter. I felt this was false advertising and for almost $9 with tax, a complete ripoff. If you really need a crepe go elsewhere.

  • Janice T.

We happened upon this crepe place as we were walking along Universal CityWalk. After spending a day at Universal Studios, I couldn't turn down the chance to have a banana and nutella crepe ($7.88). I ordered at the counter, waited for my number to be called, and enjoyed my yummy made-to-order crepe. The size was generous as were the fillings. I'm a fan!

  • Jay C.

If I had not eaten a crepe at Crave I would have given this place 5 stars. I love the turkey pesto here and I've also had the banana and strawberry combo with nutella. The texture of the crepe is softer and less rubbery than that of Crave. That can be a plus or a minus pending your taste. However, they are a bit stingy with the portions of nutella and it shows. The fries are amazing, but a "large" portion is actually quite small. I can count the number of fries with the fingers of both hands. So the prices are reasonable but then I look at the portions and then it doesn't look so reasonable after all.

Smack dab in the middle of city walk with not much competition. It was pricey, but decent. The fries were fresh, but the dipping sauces tasted old. There was just this weird aftertaste. Crepes were A-OK. We had a savory crepe with turkey and pesto. It was a little thin on fillings, as was the sweet nutella and strawberry crepe, but they both tasted good. While they wouldn't be worth the price anywhere else, in a tourist area like City Walk, they almost were.

  • Larae H.

The banana and nutella crepe. That is all you need to know :| Ok, well maybe I can give you a little more. The service in this place is fast and friendly, and they usually don't get too backed up during the week. The prices can be a little steep compared to the size of your crepe (what do you expect for being on CityWalk?), but they're pretty darn good - at least the dessert ones that I've tried. I'll more than likely return for dessert again if I'm at CityWalk for dinner.

The Creamy Chiptole fry sauce was really good. I ordered the nutella and chicken crepes. They were both yummy. It is a little spendy for what you get, but this is fast food and it right next to Universal Studios. It wasn't crowded until I sat down. Then I saw a long line forming. Just my luck I suppose. The place is small and service was fast. It is halfway decent for fast food.

I really enjoy these crepes a lot! I've had some where they're way too dry or they don't put enough filling, but this place rocks! They make sure to fill that baby up good and they don't wimp out on the powdered sugar. My favorite are the Nutella Crepes! MmmmMmmMm....anything with Nutella is bomb!...Nutella with Strawberry, banana, or raspberry...ANYTHING! Nutella is just my personal fav, but they have sooo many other fillings to choose from! They are also reasonably priced for the quality of the food and they have fast service so that's a plus! I haven't had one of these babies in awhile, I need to go asap!

WOOT WOOT for having crepes before going to Universal! we've passed by a thousand times but never wanted to try it until the other day. The first one we tried was just butter & cinnamon - it was bomb.. then after we were done with universal, we came back AGAIN but this time we tried the dulce de leche. meeeehh, i probably won't try that one again. service was whatever, i felt like i was annoying the lady at the register.

Decided to give this place a try, WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT!!! I had the breakfast crepe (scrambled egg and cheese) and my friend had a chicken crepe.... My crepe was flavorless (not sure if they even salted the egg). I looked for syrup and no syrup in sight! :( The chicken one that my friend had was better than mine. Go somewhere else for crepes in LA, plenty of better options for crepes elsewhere. The employees could have mentioned if we had a pass to universals studios we could get a discount on our meal. Thanks for NOTHING.

Yes I'm a fan! The Nutella crepe is DELICIOUS! I don't order dessert in City Walk even when dining elsewhere because THIS is the place we end up. I can see the staff may sometimes need reminders that they're being watched-- but I haven't had a problem with any of my orders except sometimes they lack in filling so just remind them you like it filled (cause they make so many yours might be the one that gets less attention). Other than that- AMAZING TASTE! And you can watch everything being made so don't hesitate. A MUST TRY!

I recently visited the Crepe Cafe on the Universal Citywalk. It was difficult to resist their establishment as it was so aesthetically pleasing to walk by and see crepes being prepared in the window. I ordered a strawberry crepe with nutella and whipped cream. With such a simple order, there was really only one thing they could have possibly messed up. The strawberries. Yup. They messed up the strawberries (which weren't fresh). It was still a decent crepe overall, but too pricey for the quality. It's no wonder that on a Saturday at lunch time they had so few customers.

OMG...so freaking yummy crepes...After a long relentless day at universal towards the end of day as we were walking by the fully lit lane glowing in all directions when we found this cute little crepe store by the side....To recharge our appetite we stopped by here to buy a dulce de leche crepe with chocolate ice cream and jalapeno cheese fries............We sat down and waited on our order..... The customer service was aweeeesome....WE got our order in 5minutes and we took powdered sugar and whipped cream with our crepe..........It was soooooooo delicious .........it was just melting in my mouth and just dint want the crepe to end...Good bang for the buck and awesome staff too......Jalapeno cheese fries were excellent as welll...........They gave jalapeno in a small box unlike mixed with fries.....so it was good for some heat resistant people like my friend who is not a big fan of jalapenos.....Will definitely return when I am here next.

Went to a concert at the Gibson this saturday (11-3-12) and decided to have a small bit before the show. my friend and i are big fans of crepes and french food so decided to check it out. lots of people there and lines were going fast so seem like the place to be. WRONG!! Lady working there seem to hate her job (dont blame her) which was rude. we ordered the #2 chicken crepe with nacho cheese fries and a strawberry crepe (total $25). the chicken crepe had NO flavor even after we added salt and pepper, the nacho cheese was watery and the worst part of it all was the strawberry "crepe". strawberry were flavorless and sour. it was basically old strawberries in a flour tortorilla. We didnt finish our meal and dumped it all in the trash. We had to go to get some Cinnabun to make our night better haha These people dont know what a good real crepe taste like... :(

$10 dessert crepes? Pass. Fuckin rip off, I can get better crepes for half the price at my local Q-cup. I ordered a mixed fruit crepe with grand marnier and ice cream, didn't taste the grand marnier at all...except in one bite where it was basically a mouthful of grand marnier. No nutella, I thought they automatically put it on =(, barely any fruit, just a lot of crepe. $2.11 additional for a small ass scoop of ice cream, GTFO. I give you one star for having Orangina, best soda ever.

Awww I'm sad that this place doesn't have better reviews. I went here in 2006 and I still often think about it. I'm a big crepe fan and I'm also a fan of simplicity in my food. I really enjoyed my crepes from here. I had the ham & cheese and the dulce de leche crepes. They made me happy and I'll definitely go there again. Maybe their quality just deteriorated over time? I'll write an update to this review the next time I go.

When in the mood for a taste of France I come to this place for their Nutella, Banana, and Strawberry crepe with whip cream, they usually add the strawberries at my request, a bit disappointed by the comments of some yelpers, I have had Crepes at 3 other establishments and this one has up to now been the one to stand out.

Was walking around Universal Studios Citywalk and happen to stumble upon this place. From the outside it definitely looked appealing, so we decided to give it a try. We ordered the Mixed Fruit Crepe and the Dulce de Leche. $15 later and 5 or so minutes, our order was ready. I decided to opt for the mixed fruit in my attempt to eat somewhat healthy. My first thought during my first bite was ehh. It was just okay. Definitely not worth $15. Guess if you've never tried crepes before, you'd think this place is delicious. But to me, it was just okay. Wish I could have gone to Ben and Jerry's ice cream instead.

Horrible service. I went in and had someone cut in front of me in line. I took my place back and the employee still insisted on taking that person's order before mine. The employee wouldn't even listen to me. What a jerk. You have lost my business.

Ordered the banana and Nutella crepe with vanilla ice cream topping with my mother, being she's a sweet fiend. It was sweet but not overpowering as many other sweets we had. The bananas were fresh and the crepe was made to order right in front of us. One crepe can easily be shared between two people who want a snack and aren't too hungry. If you're looking for sweets and are around city walk id highly suggest this place, granted there are dozens of other places to choose from, but none(to my knowledge) that serve Nutella AND a crepe omelet.

The word crepe has a way of drawing people in. We saw the establishment and the employees making crepes through the window and immediately wanted some. The price was quite reasonable and pleasantly surprising considering its location. They sell a variety of sweet and savory crepes, all of which are available as part of a combo deal which comes with fries and a drink. We ordered one sweet and one savory crepe. The sweet crepe was a mixed fruit one, which came with nutella and seasonal fresh fruit. The savory crepe was a turkey pesto, which came with jack cheese, turkey, avocado, and pesto. The sweet crepe was a bit over done because it was crispy and brunt. However, the nutella was good and they gave a generous serving of blueberries, bananas, and strawberries. The savory crepe was perfectly done and so delicious. Between the two crepes, this was the one we finished first.

Went to universal studios for the day and at the end of the day I wanted a snack. I decided against eating in the park because it is usually all crappy reheated fast food. Well I should have eaten in the park, I had the number one with cinnamon, sugar and butter but it was the worst crepe I ever had. The crepe was thick, doughy and so so bland. Worst part was the layer of cinnamon was so thick it was like eating chalk gross and powdery. Such a disappointment.

After visiting Universal Studios Hollywood, we decided to go look at the shops along the Universal Citywalk, and we happen to see this first! When I first saw 'CREPE' cafe..totally wanted it! Before you enter, you can see the guy making crepe with jars of nutella surrounding him. So, I guessed if there's a bunch of jars around him, maybe that was the best crepe they were selling. I bought the #6 banana & nutella crepe, don't get me wrong it was delicious, and most def. filled with nutella and bananas. Customer service wasn't that great, they didn't look like they wanted to be there or even service any of the customers. No Hello, no recommendations of what is good. I mean it would seem this area of the citywalk would be a semi-tourist spot. However, I wasn't feeling it here. The price was just as ridiculous for ONE crepe, $6+ with that you can BUY the ingredients yourself and make as much as you want. Not coming here again, and also the seating inside is VERY limited.

Ehhh...it was what i expected...mediocre...a big pricey considering what it is...i got the fruit crepe with no banana...and my friend got the turkey pesto one which i thought was better than mine... it was okay...tasted kinda like what a crepe would be if it were at a fast food joint...not great but not disgusting either... blaise at best... this review is depressing...i have nothing to say...it was dullsville...no inspiration to write anything interesting... its on citywalk...what do you expect...

  • Lyn B.

I got the turkey pesto crepe combo (with small fries and small soda) for about $14. A little pricey for the quality and quantity. The food was fresh, but the texture of the crepe was pretty spongy and soft, and the filling was pretty skimpy. I wa given the free and a cup for soda, and was told my fries would be ready "in a moment." Their definition of "in a moment" must be like 10 minutes. I was done with the crepe by the time my fries were ready.

  • Laura O.

This was the first place where I tried my first crepe. It was super bomb! I still remember every moment of it and everyone else who I was with enjoyed it as well. (we got the strawberry one and the ham&cheese) Yes it is pricey, but what do expect? This is Universal City Walk people! We are going to be paying for ridiculous prices for something we can get for a lot cheaper outside. So relax, order your overpriced yummy crepe, sit in the outdoor section of this place and enjoy every moment of it =)

Their FRIES - 4 stars. Just the right thickness, fried crispy and served with your choice of 4 dipping sauces - my favorites are spicy ketchup and the pesto mayo. Crepes - 2 stars. I don't really like crepes but have had my fair share including some fresh off the streets in Paris. The crepes here are too well done. Try the fries!

First and foremost, this place *IS* pricey, but I am assuming it has a lot to do with the location and the fact that it is a touristy spot. The fact that it is pricey aside, I absolutely loved my crepes. I am a crepe enthusiast and since I lack the skill of making crepes at home, I am limited to enjoying them elsewhere. I had a ham & cheese crepe and shared a sugar crepe with my husband. My ham & cheese crepe was delicious and was full of ham and cheese, no skimping on the ingredients at all. The sugar crepe was less than stellar and definitely not the best that I've had, but still tasty. All and all, I got my crepe fix and was pleased. Pricey? Yes. Delicious? Yes. Will I come back? Yes. Will I go out of my way for this place? No.

OK, so this place is getting four stars because I just love crepes. If restaurants only served crepes or sushi, I'd be pretty happy for the most part. Well, I'd like a Ruth's Chris out there too, but those three would be pretty good. Of course, I'd miss In-N-Out and Chick-Fil-A once in a while, but you can't have everything. But as usual, I digress... We were up at Universal Studios for a couple of days on a trip we won on Jack FM here in San Diego. Pretty cool, I know! Well, we were walking around City Walk and BAM! There was this crepe place. It was a nice little spot with indoor and outdoor seating. Their menu wasn't exhaustive, but it featured all the basics for both savory and sweet crepes. The menu was easy to understand and prices were a little on the high side.... typical of a place like Universal City Walk. It was pretty dead on a Sunday morning so I strolled in and ordered a couple of crepes... a ham, egg and cheese and the good ole Nutella and banana. They weren't the best crepes I've ever had, but they certainly weren't bad at all. I'll definitely be eating there if I go back up. It's a refreshing change from the typical fare of burgers and sandwiches. If you like crepes or are feeling slightly adventurous, it's a definite spot to try when you're at Universal City Walk.

You want your crepe Sweet or Savory? Although im not a big fan or crepes..Ive always thought crepes were meant to be sweet. That being said..ive only tried their savory crepes...(go figure!). Their turkey and avocado w/ cheese crepe is good. My boss said they have really good fries! (I havent tried them). There is a window in front where you can watch the chefs make the crepes. Nice presentation!

After our trip to Universal the boyfriend and I decided to try this place out and let's just say. They need some lesson on crepe making from Genki Living in Rowland or something because it was less than mediocre. First of all, there's a window outside that lets you see them actually making the crepe, which isn't anything too special really. If you've been to other crepe places they do the exact same thing, just not as nicely set up. I ordered a dessert crepe, which was the strawberry crepe for I think $6.95 and I added a scoop of vanilla ice cream for another $1.95. Add in tax and it came up to a grand total of $9.50. For a single crepe. I waited about 10 mins to get our crepe and when I was waiting one of the employees or something had a crepe specially made for his girlfriend/female friend that looked bomb, so I had high hopes. It looked like a strawberry crepe lined with nutella, topped with ghiradelli chocolate, sugared powder, whipped creme, and a GIANT scoop of ice cream. Keep in mind that this wasn't offered on the menu, which was sort of frustrating. Should employees really be making crepes for their girlfriends right in front of paying customers, then making it look MUCH better than what the actual customers were paying for? I believe the employee was off duty because he just went in the back as he pleased and made this for his girlfriend in front of us. When I received my crepe, it looked nothing like what I was hoping for. A small scoop of ice cream next to a crepe topped with strawberries and whipped cream. The crepe was still very hott, which spread into the strawberries and I'm not too fond of hott strawberries in my crepe. The bread part of the crepe seemed to lack some flavor and left me very disappointed. All things considered, customer service was a fail and I will not be back until they get their act together or lower prices.

Stay away! I ordered the dulce de leche (caramel) crepe, and added nutella to the order. Well the crepe came out and I almost thought they had forgot to put anything on it. I thought it was just a dry crepe upon opening the crepe I found a thin layer of the ingredients I ordered in the very middle the crepe, it was the driest crepe I had ever eaten. They basically put the amount of butter you might spread on a slice of toast... if you were on a diet. No thanks. Stay away unless you like empty crepes or crepes "with the slightest hint of (desired ingredient)"

Remind me again why I paid 12 bucks for a ham and cheese crepe with French fries and a small soda? It sounded really awesome.. Crepes? City Walk?! Fucking rad! But here's the real story: We walk in and take a look around. They get you with the fancy pictures of awesome looking food! You order and you're super excited to get some mean ass crepes, but when it comes out, you're disappointed. This is how girls must feel when they see me naked for the first time. I understand now. I completely understand. Flies were all over the restaurant, so I don't know how clean it was. The flies annoyed the hell out of me. Don't waste your money here. All the reviews can't be wrong, and I wish I had Yelped it first. They get 1 Star because of the parking valets at City Walk. I paid $25 for valet service and a car wash. When I left, I asked them where do I pay for it. They sent me downstairs and no one was around. We waited for a few more minutes then someone came to take our tag. I pulled out a $5 to tip the valet. When my car pulled around it was shiny and clean--and a bit confused, the valet just took the $5 and opened the door. Where do I pay? Oh! I guess I don't have to. Crepe Cafe, you got lucky this time. I didn't mind paying 12 bucks for your shitty as meal because I got a free car wash.

Being a crepe fan (both dessert and food) I was very surprised at how yummy my Nutella and banana crepe was. Price is a little on the high side but your paying for the experience too. You get to watch the chefs make your crepe (which is made in less than 5 minutes on a Friday night) and chose to top it off with powdered sugar and whipped cream! yum yum

Effing $12 for a damn chocolate crepe w/a scoop of ice cream, that just tasted OK. Nothing special. Definitely not worth the money. You could get better crepes for a better price else where.

slow, over priced. do not go here, tourist trap! the french fries I ordered cost me almost $4 and it only came with 10 pieces. It is nothing and not even close to anything in the photo/menu!

Nutella in the window - check. Gaudy francophile "art deco" posters of wine and parapluie - check. Smells of coffee and confections - check. This place had all the right items to make for a stellar creperie! But the food just did not live up to expectations. I had the turkey pesto and avocado crepe, which was made with cold cuts not fresh turkey. D had the ham and pineapple - he ate it in one bite, so I am assuming it was good. Our friend N had the vegetable crepe and was disappointed with the lack of fresh veggies. Moral of the story, get sweet crepes and you'll be in love! Get savory crepes and you'll be slightly happy... Definitely going back for the nutella, strawberry, and whipped cream crepe!

Move along. Nothing worth your time or money here. Crepes are mediocre at best.

Hubbs and I had the turkey pesto. We like them. I liked the pesto and avocado. I actually like those in almost any dish. My boy had the Hawaiin crepe, light on the cheese by request and enjoyed it. My daughter enjoyed her strawberry filled crepe which was dusted with powdered sugar, topped with some whipped cream and accompanied by a scoop of vanilla icecream on the side. This place provided a better than expected breakfast for us. It was surely better than getting a bag of doughnuts from another place nearby. heh! that would've been a totally lame breakfast...

I'm not a huge fan of Crepes, but this place was simply bad. Even the girl thought so, and she loves them! It was breakfast, so we got the breakfast crepe, which came with eggs and cheese. The eggs were undercooked and still runny, or there was so much cheese it seemed like the eggs were runny, either way, it was bad. The crepe became soggy from the egg/cheese runny-ness and the whole thing made my stomach feel not great.

Tasty dessert crepes. Some strange savory dinner crepes. Delicious Nutella crepes. This place is way to pricey for crepes and the reality is that this is not a nice enough place to claim your paying for overhead. They either need to work on their image or lower their prices. Don't get the fries. In fact - don't ever get fries from a crepe place. Get Crepes and get them to go. This is not a high quality establishment.

I was a little disappointed because they basically only specialize in crepes.. I was hoping for some thai noodles..

Always yummy when I ate there. It is pricey, but hey, they have to pay rent on CityWalk people! Nutella & Banana! Turkey Pesto! my faves!

I love a good Crepe. I had not had one in a long time. While walking down the Univeral Walk, I decided to stop in for a quick bite. They seem to make them in front of you but you wait a long time. I think I waited ten minutes and there was not a crowd. I had a cinammon crepe but I would describe it as predictable. It was nothing out of this world. I really didnt feel it satisfied my sweet tooth. It appears that this is part of a chain but they didnt seem to move with any speed in making the crepe so I cant imagine that it would be popular chain. I would have kept walking had I know the price and quality would not match.

The banana nutella crepe was good.. The chocolate was better than the run of the mill chocolate syrup, it was thicker than that. 3.5 stars for the crepe. But the french fries were a huge let down. They looked nothing like the photo they advertised. They were thick, and VERY mediocre! 1 stars for this. The photo showed these thin, crispy looking fries, and we got thick, carl's JR style fries.. yuck! Overall not too many choices at 1030am in the citywalk, although we didn't notice Saddle ranch chop house was open for breakfast.. maybe that would have been a better choice.

I love their mixed fruit crepe. I thought adding $1.95 for the ice cream was a little pricey along with the crepe but even taste better. The place was very clean so no complaints

The banana and chocolate crepe was really good, and I don't care for bananas. It was definitely pricey, but what do you expect when you are at City Walk. I want to try the strawberry and chocolate crepe next time we are at City Walk.

After a long day at Universal Studio, we came upon this crepe cafe. First we were fascinated by the way they make crepes behind a glass window. The ingredients look fresh and portion generous. So we decided to get one savoury crepe (Pizza) and one dessert crepe (Nutella, Strawberry and Banana). We waited for a little bit as there was a line, but we were well entertained watching the crepes being made. As expected, the crepes were hot and fresh and the portion was generous and we couldn't even finish it. Highly recommend.

I had a hankering for some pomme frites when I passed by this creperie. The crepes did look tempting too, but I was more in the mood for a salty snack. They make the crepes right in front of the window. They looked good and ample portioned, but a little over cooked so u have those brown spots that you find on cooked tortillas.. which they looked more like than actual crepes. The line was long..... too long...... they're too damn slow. All I wanted was a small fries w/three diff dipping sauces - jalapeno ketchup, creamy chipotle, and pesto mayo. They also had ranch and honey mustard. I was very impatient that day. I didn't see a deep fryer behind the counter, I saw this oven like contraption you find at quiznos and subways to heat up your subs that were cooking the fries..or should I say heating them up....... once they made a batch, one guy salted them, and started putting them in styrofoam cups.. and just left them there to go help w/making crepes...... still waiting. He comes back w/some crepes and grabbed one of hte cups of fries to call out hte next order.......... still waiting and staring at the cups of fries.... finally he picked one up and called my number and asked me if i ordered any sauces.. so from under the table, from a fridge he pulled out some sauces.... really? You couldn't have just given me the fires when they came out of of the 'oven' .. you had to go in order... really...... I kid u not there were like 6 ppl behind the counter.... how many ppl does it take to make fries and crepes....... the fries were fries you can get at any other establishment at City Walk, nothing special about the "pomme frites" here. They were normal cut, mushy fries. At least the dipping sauces were good. Too long of a wait for mediocre food.. pass.

most of the time i only take off stars for lack of or bad customer service. the lady at the counter called our number so i assumed the food is ready. as soon as i picked up the crepe, she asked me bluntly if i still want that scoop of icecream. bitch if you aren't done putting the food on the table, why the hell would you call my number. i was upset then and still upset now that i think about it. but i didn't wanna ruin the vacational mood with my girlfriend so i just brushed it off. if i do ever go back next time i would throw the damn crepe at her!

My husband and went here with out any expectations. We decided to try the crepe filled with turkey, avocado, and jack cheese (we asked that the turkey to be substituted with chicken breast, and this was not an issue). The crepe batter was thicker and denser than some crepes I have had at other creperies, but it was good. It was hot. The cheese was nicely melted. The avocado tasted fresh. The chicken was moist. Overall, the crepe was very tasty. I would go back here again when I return to the city walk.

A crepe, fries, and drink for ~$10 at Universal Studios is pretty good right?? Its probably as good as anything you can get in the park. The Crepe Cafe is located at City Walk just outside Universal. I'm usually a fan of sweet dessert-type crepes, not savory but for lunch I had to go for the Chicken Crepe (monty jack, tomato, spinach, onion). If you're gonna get the fries, which are just average, get the honey mustard and not the chipotle sauce (incl.) There are definitely better places around LA for crepes like Cafe Crepe and Crepe To Go. There are lots of other dining choices around City Walk and I'd check one of the other places out next time.

laaaaaame. if you're desperate for a crepe while you're at City Walk, i guess you can settle for this place. but it really isn't that good. they barely use any ingredients in the crepes. no matter what you get. Never fails. Everything i've ever gotten here has not been good, let alone worth the price. the crepes are too thick, dry, and rubbery. Don't waste your time or money here. shittttttttttttttttttty.

Disappointment! I really wanted something out of the ordinary, something that's not so common. I walked by the Crepe Cafe and urged my boyfriend to eat here. Without looking carefully at the menu, I ordered a strawberry crepe. I automatically assumed that the strawberry crepe came with nutella, because everywhere else I go serves it like that! Sadly, I took the first bite and shook my head. The strawberries weren't sweet enough and NO NUTELLA! The powdered sugar was tasteless! What do you expect from a fast-food crepe place? So stupid of me to think this place could've been any better than the crepes that I'm already used to. Cost me a little more than $6 for bland strawberry dessert crepe.

These are just horrible!!! Sadly I was very hungry and did not notice this is related to the one in San Francisco which is just as awful :( Over Priced first off, for the crepe it is not worth the expense. Which I am sure is due to their location. Secondly there are nothing amazing about a crepe with just fruit inside, I personally like whip cream or some kind of sauce to make it awesome. But just a dry crepe with chopped strawberries :P When I think of a crepe it has whip cream, custard or chocolate syrup, and strawberries. NOW thats a crepe! So i would NOT recommend this crepe to anyone, I visited their San Francisco location which is just as awful.

Not bad. I had the Chicken Pesto crepe. It was a little thin for the price, but what do you expect for a tourist trap like City Walk. Service was nice and didn't have to wait too long.

this place was okay. not bad as far as crepes go, especially being in a place like universal citywalk. crepes we tried: chicken, ham & cheese, and turkey. all were good, but i can't imagine screwing up ingredients as simple as these. we also tried the strawberry, dulce de leche, and nutella. not bad, not great, just decent. the worst part about this place is how long it takes to get your food. and when they call your number, you get all excited because you're hungry as hell, and you scurry up to the counter only to find that they're handing you your fries and dip. and it's a full ten minutes later before you finally get those crepes. it was good enough, since bubba gump was packed and we only had about 45 minutes till the start of our concert at the gibson. i don't know that i'd go back, but at least i wasn't hungry through the show.
